Azamat

Originally from Russia, Azamat started dancing at the age of 8. Having the opportunity to train with many top world coaches, some of his most notable accomplishments are:

·        Runner up in the Junior Latin World Championships

·        Third place Junior Blackpool Championships

·        Third place in the Russian Open

·        Three times United States Junior 2 Champion

·        2004 Tri-State Challenge – 1^st Place

·        2005 Ohio Star Ball Championships Under 21 Latin 4^th Place

In 2008, Azamat turned Pro and is currently competing in Profession Rhythm. Some of his results are:



·        2008 Caribbean Dancesport 1^st in Rising Star Pro Rhythm

·        2010 Embassy Ball 1^st in Rising Star Pro Rhythm

·        2010 World Salsa Championships 3^rd Place

·        2011 & 2012 Manhattan Dance Championships Open Pro Rhythm Finalist

·        2011 Tri-State Challenge 2^nd in the Open Professional Rhythm

·        2011 Costa Rican Classic 1^st in the Rising Star Professional Rhythm & 2^nd in the Open Professional Rhythm

·        2012 US Salsa Championship 2^nd Place

·        2013 Classique Du Quebec 1^st Place

·        2013 Open to The World Salsa Championships 1^st Place
